Suffering Can Make Us Stronger
When suffering comes remember that suffering can strengthen us. We can become better people because of our suffering. God can use the difficult times we go through to improve our character.
Much of what the Apostle Peter wrote in First Peter has to do with suffering. He wrote this letter to encourage Christians who were suffering for their Faith in Jesus. He wrote, "But the God of all grace, Who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.'' (1 Peter 5:10)
Our suffering is for a short time but if we trust in God, He will make us strong.
